Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the websites and services operated by Local Trades Direct ("we", "us", "our"), a trading name of Aurora International Realty Commercial Broker – FZCO. By using our websites, submitting an enquiry, or subscribing to a contractor membership, you agree to these Terms.
1. Our service
We operate local home-improvement websites that generate homeowner enquiries and pass them to independent local contractors. We provide marketing and enquiry-generation services only. We do not perform home-improvement work, and we are not a party to any contract between a homeowner and a contractor.
2. For homeowners
- Submitting an enquiry is free and places you under no obligation.
- By submitting an enquiry, you agree that your details may be passed to a local contractor who will contact you (see our Privacy Policy).
- Any work you arrange is a matter strictly between you and the contractor. We do not guarantee, warrant, or take responsibility for the quality, pricing, timing, or outcome of that work.
3. For contractors — membership
- Contractor membership provides enquiries generated from the area(s) and service(s) agreed with you, in return for a recurring fee.
- We aim to send exclusive enquiries within an agreed area, but we do not guarantee any specific number, value, quality, or conversion rate of enquiries in any period.
- You are solely responsible for your own licensing, insurance, quotations, workmanship, and compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
- We retain full ownership of our websites, domains, phone numbers, and content at all times.
4. Billing
- Membership is billed as a recurring subscription in advance, at the interval and amount agreed at sign-up (typically monthly).
- Payments are processed securely by Stripe. By subscribing, you authorise us to charge your chosen payment method for each billing cycle until you cancel.
- Fees are exclusive of any taxes that may apply, which are your responsibility where applicable.
- If a payment fails, we may retry the charge and may suspend enquiries until payment is resolved.
5. Cancellation and refunds
- Membership is month-to-month with no minimum term unless separately agreed in writing.
- You may cancel at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period, and you will continue to receive enquiries until then.
- Because membership provides ongoing access to enquiries throughout each paid period, fees already paid are generally non-refundable, except where required by law or agreed by us in writing.

6. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse our websites, submit false or fraudulent enquiries, or use enquiry information for any purpose other than responding to the homeowner's request. Enquiry details must be handled in line with applicable data protection law.
7. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss, or for the acts, omissions, or work of any contractor or homeowner. Our total liability arising from the service is limited to the fees you paid to us in the three months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
8. Intellectual property
All content, branding, websites, and materials provided by us remain our property or that of our licensors. Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership of any of our assets to you.
9. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of our websites or services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
10. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates and the applicable regulations of the Dubai Integrated Economic Zones, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer-protection rights you may have in your country of residence.
